image for Tim Tebow Looks Good Against The New York Giants - He May Escape The Next New England Patriots Cut
Tim is such a team player that he has even offered to pump up the footballs before the games.

FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts - Tim Tebow and his legion of fans finally had something to cheer about on the gridiron as he threw two touchdown passes to help the New England Patriots defeat the New York Giants 28-20 in a preseason game.

Tim, who wears number 5 in honor of baseball great Hank Aaron, was asked by Rufus Reno with Sports Balls Illustrated Daily how he felt after the game.

The 26-year-old quarterback who is in excellent shape, smiled as he took a sip of his Guava Gatorade and said that he could have easily played an extra two quarters.

When asked if he felt that he did enough to escape the next player cut, he shrugged his shoulders and said that he feels that he did but that it is all up Coach Bill Belichick, whom he called one of the best football coaches he has ever been around.

Tim added that he really likes coach Belichick because he knows over 120 Sarah Palin jokes and close to 200 knock-knock jokes.

He then pointed out that he hopes he gets to stay so that he can learn a lot of the tricks of the trade from starting quarterback Tom Brady.

SIDENOTE: Reno remarked that Tebow told him that he enjoys playing football so much that at times he feels like he should be paying the team owner.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
