Florida- Thanks to their athleticism and technologically advanced equipment, professional golfers are hitting the ball farther than ever before, launching shots over water hazards and bunkers with almost no effort. Many of the great old golf courses are practically defenseless and Greg Norman has had enough.
At a press conference today the golfing legend announced that he was working on designs for a new golf course that would solve the problem. "In a word", said Mr. Norman, "it's going to be big...really big."
The Shark, as Norman is called by many of his fans, continued by saying "This course is going to be so big the players and their caddies are going to need GPS devices just to find the clubhouse. We're going to have one par five that is nine hundred yards long. Lets see Bubba Watson or Nicolas Colsaerts reach that in two!"
The two time major winner then flew off in his helicopter to his palatial mansion, where he plans to spend the rest of the day pouring over maps in search of a place to build his dream course.
