image for President Obama Makes An NBA Bet With Jack Nicholson
The president talking on the phone with San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Jack Nicholson recently won a $100,000 bet when the Los Angeles Lakers managed to somehow limp into the NBA Western Conference playoffs.

And now the star of Easy Rider, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, A Few Good Men and Oops...The Bernie Madoff Story has approached the president of the United States with a sports bet proposal.

Jack told President Obama that the world champion Miami Heat will be repeating as NBA champions this year.

The president reportedly grinned from ear-to-ear and told Nicholson that he would take the bet.

The Hollywood actor asked "How much?"

And president Obama raised his eyebrows and replied, "You just name the amount you are willing to lose Jackie my brutha from a different mutha."

"$50,000!" Nicholson responded.

The president shook his hand and said, "Then $50,000 it is Mr. N."

SIDENOTE: An unnamed White House source said that when Michelle Obama heard about the bet she got very upset. And then her husband told her that he had spoken on the phone with San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich and he told him that there is no way that Miami will win four games against his Spurs team.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
