image for Kobe Bryant's Tweets Don't Help As The Lakers Get Beat By The San Antonio Spurs
Steve Nash of the Lakers tweeted Kobe and told him to stop wasting his time tweeting the team.

SAN ANTONIO - Kobe "Vino" Bryant sat at his home in Los Angeles tweeting up a storm as his Laker teammates played in their first game of the playoffs against the San Antonio Spurs.

Kobe, who just recently discovered tweeting, tweeted his team to run, shoot, defend, claw, and pass the ball like he does; well except for the passing part.

But it was all to no avail as Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and the Spurs team had other ideas.

The Spurs handed the boys in purple in gold a 91-79 beating.

After the game a very upset Kobe tweeted that he did not appreciate his team not paying attention to his tweets.

He went on to say that they had better listen to his tweets when they play on Wednesday or the NBA's lone player-coach may end up having to hit some of his players with fines or possibly even fire one or two of them.

Metta World Peace was asked to comment on Kobe's tweets and he replied that perhaps Kobe better concentrate on worrying about his injury and not bother the Lakers with his little school girl tweets.

Pau Gasol added that next Kobe will probably hire a sky writing plane to highlight his messages.

In Related News. Charles "Fat Bro" Barkley told Sports Balls Illustrated Daily that if he was playing on the Lakers team he would tweet Kobe and tell him where to put his friggin tweets.
