image for Kobe Bryant Injured - The Lakers Playoff Hopes May Have Just Faded Into The Left Coast Sunset
Kobe was treated at Our Lady of The Silver Screen Hospital in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES - Laker fans are holding their collective breaths and hoping that their superstar Kobe "Vino" Bryant is not hurt as bad as Charles "The Fat Bro" Barkley thinks he is.

Barkley who is noted for letting venomous saliva spew forth from his sarcastically pompous mouth told Rufus Reno with Sports Balls Illustrated Daily that the boys in purple and gold might as well start looking forward to next season.

Kobe hurt his ankle in a play with Dahntay Jones of the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks ended up winning the game 96-92, and in the mean time the Lakers organization is fearful that the number 8 seed ranking could be drifting out towards the sunset over the Pacific Ocean heading at a high rate of speed towards the Hawaiian Islands.

The pumpkin-shape faced Barkley commented that without Kobe Bean, the Lakers are left without the best player, the best cheerleader, and the best player-coach in the entire NBA.

When Jack Nicholson saw the replay of Kobe getting hurt in Atlanta the actor and number one Laker fan was sitting at The Drunk Duck Lounge in Marina Del Rey and he let loose with a barrage of F, S, and D words.

One of the waiters noted that Jack even uttered some strongly worded expletives in Spanish.

SIDENOTE: Phil Jackson who is engaged to the Lakers Vice-President of Business Operations Jeanie Buss said that Kobe has a severe ankle sprain as well as a sore tongue.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
