DENVER - There were some snow flurries and the temperature was 6 degrees but Baltimore Raven's kicker Justin Tucker's foot was hot as he nailed a 47-yard field goal in overtime to stop Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos dead in their tracks 38-35.
Sports Balls Illustrated Daily's Rufus Reno said that it was so cold in Denver that he actually saw a Mallard Duck hugging a discarded hot dog to try and keep warm.
Reno noting that some sports critics had the Broncos as 43 point favorites shook his head and remarked that it's a good thing it was as cold as it was because that way the television viewing audience could not see Peyton Manning's tears.
Even the Denver mascot reportedly broke loose from his reins and galloped for the nearby Rocky Mountains.
After the game Denver fans could be heard cussing in 17 different languages including Swedish, Korean, and Lakota Sioux.
Reports are that Tim Tebow's brother Peter was one of the few Denver residents who was thrilled as hell that the Ravens had put it to the Broncos.
Peter is alleged to be in hiding somewhere in the Colorado Springs area. CNN reported that his boss heard about him gloating over the Bronco loss and he has been told to clean out his desk.
Meanwhile Tim Tebow is reported to have smiled the biggest smile of his life when he saw Tucker's game-winning kick sail through the goal posts.
An unnamed source said that Tim whispered under his breath..."Yes! The Tim Tebow Curse got 'em!"
SIDENOTE: The rumor has not been confirmed but reports are that Peter Tebow bet on the Baltimore Ravens and won $37,000.
