image for Tom Brady Promises That The New England Patriots Will Win This Year's Super Bowl
England's Queen Elizabeth II, recently asked Tom for an autographed football.

NEW YORK CITY - Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his high heel shoe model wife Gisele were in the Big Apple doing some post-Christmas shopping.

Tom said that his wife had picked up a great deal on some imported Icelandic hand mittens and he had purchased a Metta World Peace basketball jersey which had been reduced 70 percent.

Brady was asked by Sports Balls Illustrated Daily's Rufus Reno how his injury to his throwing hand pinkie was going. Brady grinned and said that although it was hurting it would not stop him from winning all the playoff games on the way to Super Bowl XLVII.

He said that after the team practices he goes home, has dinner, and then goes outside and tosses the ball around with some of the neighborhood kids while dressed in his boxer shorts and a Jay Leno Tonight Show T-Shirt no matter how cold it may be.

Tom told Reno that it helps to build up his stamina and it gives all of the neighborhood kids a thrill of a lifetime to be able to catch some passes from one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever put on a helmet, cleats, and a cup.

Reno asked Brady if he cared to make a prediction on how the Patriots will do.

Brady was somewhat taken aback by Reno's question. But he took a bite out of his foot long hot dog and a sip from his Big Red Zero Soda and replied that by all accounts it looks like the Patriots will probably be facing the Houston Texans in Super Bowl XLVII, which will be played in the Superdome in New Orleans on February 3, 2013.

Reno then remarked that he thinks that the Texans might beat the Pats. Brady got a bit upset by his comment and said that he promises the New England Patriots will win this year's Super Bowl and if they don't then he will retire or else demand to be traded.

SIDENOTE: When Reno asked him where he would like to go if he was traded Brady quickly replied to the New York Jets since he and Gisele both love the city's Coney Island hot dogs.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
