image for Lonely Italian football supporter rings helpline for help against loneliness!
Signori Brovedani, ex-Udinese fan will never walk alone again after some sound Samaritan advice!

Udinese soccer fan, Arrigo Brovedani, who stood alone in the away stands in a league game in far off Genoa was so depressed after the game that he contemplated suicide, but then he gave The Telephone Helpline a buzz instead, and they saved his life!

Signori Brovedani, a staunch Udinese supporter who travels all over Italy watching his team was astonished as he arrived in the Sampdoria stadium only to find out that the other Udinese fans couldn't be bothered to turn up. So he watched the game all alone apart from the home supporters who gave him a rousing welcome, a cappuccino or two and cheered him out of the stadium at the end.

Sadly, on the way home he contemplated suicide because he had never felt so lonely in all of his life. It was the first time other Udinese supporters didn't bother to turn up and being the love of his life, Udinese that is, the thought of facing future away games alone was just too much to take.

Luckily he rang the local helpline and this is what they told him:

"Get a fucking life you miserable, sad Udinese git, we all love Juventus!"

This saved his life because instead of being a sad, sorry, sole, away Udinese supporter, he has now become a "Born Again Juventus fan" and they never walk alone!
