In a shocking moment of honesty during a BBC interview, Mark Hughes has revealed his incredible dislike for his QPR players.
During the interview, following a question about morale in the dressing room, Hughes sighed and said "I don't care. Do you? They are idiots. Overpaid, talentless idiots"
What followed was a incredibly revealing insight into the real reasons behind the terrible form seen this year from the London club.
"I start each talk team by telling them that I hate them. Then I go from player to player, slapping them and calling them worthless.
I stand there with a megaphone at training, and just scream "terrible" at every thing they do. Literally, every pass I just cant help it - the morons"
Hughes became quite emotional during the interview, visibly weeping at one point.
"I'm not sure entirely why I do it. In hindsight, I'm not sure I am fully over the sacking from Manchester City. At least that is what my therapists think".
QPR owner Tony Fernandes reissued his commitment to Hughes even after the story broke, stating "I have full confidence in his methods. He may be a little jaded, but he is the guy that will ultimately get the best out of the team".
Rumours are circulating this evening that after the interview, Hughes slashed the tyres of Anton Ferdinand's car, threw paint at Jose Bosingwa, and has kidnapped Adel Taarabt's dog.
