DALLAS - One thing that can certainly be said about the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones is that he is one shrewd businessman.
He built the $1 billion Cowboys Stadium and says that he figures that it can be paid off within 13 months; which is quite an amazing feat.
At the present time Jones is a very unhappy camper as his team is sitting at 3-5, after having lost to the Atlanta Falcons 19-13.
Jerry has been severely criticized for his insistence that quarterback Tony Romo is the only one who can lead the Cowboys.
Sports Balls Illustrated Daily's Rufus Reno stated that there has to come a time when one has to say that something is just not working and maybe going in another direction could be the answer.
A perfect example is General George Armstrong Custer who went to the well one to many times and ended up meeting his Waterloo at a place called The Little Big Horn.
Romo has shown to be one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in the history of the Cowboys organization. His performance chart goes up and down more times than a Macy's Department Store elevator.
Many fans and sportswriters believed that his luck would change once he dumped Jessica Simpson - it didn't.
Others believed his luck would change once Jerry Jones forbade him from sitting on the sidelines with his baseball cap turned backwards - it didn't.
So what is the answer? Many die-hard Cowboys fans are calling for Jerry Jones to do what he has to do in order to make New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow a Dallas Cowboy.
The 6-foot-3-inch, 240 pound Tebow is a very talented passer who can turn into a running back within a fraction of a second. He can instill excitement into a lackadaisical Cowboys team that at times seems to play with all the determination of a wounded caribou.
Tim, is fearless and he is probably the most liked athlete in the United States. Given a chance to be the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, he would most probably excel beyond any one's expectations.
SIDENOTE: Reports are that of the 36 Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, 27 said that they would date him if Jerry Jones dropped the cheerleader clause which prevents them from dating Cowboy players.
