Los Angeles, California: LA Galaxy lost 4-3 against rivals San Jose recently. In the final minute of the match, David Beckham was able to 'rehabilitate' an injured player with a 'Bend it Like Beckham' dead ball shot.
It was reported that David Beckham was seemingly angry at what he percieved as time-wasting. Immediately booked for this unselfish act of 'rehabilitation', the former England Captain then proceeded to remonstrate with several opponents before and after the final whistle, as he attempted to explain the 'Bend it Like Beckham' rehabilitation technique in more detail.
David Beckham, with no little skill, struck a San Jose player with the ball as he lay stricken on the turf. Clearly Beckham cured the guy... See how fast he jumped to his feet? It shows how much David Beckham still cares and once again his prowess with striking a 'dead ball'!
Some have countered that should be added to the game as a valid move to test for bogus injuries. It could be called the 'healing ball'. It seemed to cure that 'nancy boy' Cronin of whatever he was suffering, immediately, who should have been booked for time-wasting.
So why is David Beckham not in Team GB? That was a spot on shot, none of england team players came close to that, in the Euro 2012 Finals. Wasted opportunity if you ask me.....
With David Beckham, ruling out Team Management as his next career step, maybe 'Bend it Like Beckham' Rehabilitation Centres for injured sports people, may be the future business venture.
