SAN JOSE, Costa Rica - A spokesperson for the Costa Rican Olympic team, Francisco San Platanos, has expressed the fact that Team Costa Rica has just received a certified letter from The International Olympic Committee.
The letter stipulates that the IOC has ruled not to allow the Costa Rican Olympic team to bring their mascot to London for the Olympic games.
San Platanos pointed out that they had originally been informed that it was okay for Paco The Burro to accompany Team Costa Rica to London.
Arrangements had even been made to house Paco during the Olympic games at the Surrey, England farm of Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden.
San Platanos has stated that the entire Costa Rican contingent is extremely upset due to the fact that they consider Paco The Burro to be their good luck charm.
SIDENOTE: The Costa Rican Government decided to hire noted American attorney Ginger Allred to represent them in their case to get Paco to be allowed to travel to England but they were told that Ms. Allred was busy handling cases for Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Lady Gaga, and Boo Boo Stewart.
