Rondo was cranky before the first game against the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers. He had missed his pregame nap.

Rondo is always at his most mercurial when he misses nap-time at his crib. We are sure Rondo will tell you that playoff games are the annoying time between naps.
Sleep deprivation is a terrible thing, especially when you have to face the bright lights and the cameras.

Rondo told assorted media in his sleepiest voice that he knew not what might come forth after missing his power nap. The Truth likely was brewing coffee, and Sugar Ray was adding his own spoonful of sweetness.

Rondo must have put some drops in his eyes to get the red out, but the little Green men knew he was still the leader to follow.

During the first-half the Celtics looked like the Roswell crash.
During the first half Rajon Rondo wandered about like a sleep-walking extra-terrestrial, looking for a phone to call home.

Then with the half-time break, Rip Van Rondo was able to catch 40 winks in the locker room.

When he returned, he was refreshed. He began to lead the Celtics against the trombone slide of the 76ers.

No longer looking like your average 'Sleepy-Time Gal,' Rondo was suddenly able to amass yet another staggering triple-double, his eighth in playoff games.

Fans who said after the first half, "Wake me when it's over," won't need the no-doze when Game 2 rolls around. We sincerely hope that Rondo doesn't nod off during the next game and continues to have REM dreams.
