image for Peyton Manning Says He Doesn't Know Where He'll Play Next But Would Consider QB/Offensive Coach Job
Manning To Play, Coach?

Just released four-time league MVP Peyton Manning has told reporters in Florida today that he was in Florida because he lived here, not that he would be playing for the Dolphins next season.

"This is all new to me. I've only been with the one team my whole career", he stated. "So I don't even know how you go about it. I just check in with my agent."

Apparently the Miami Dolphins are definitely interested in him. So are Kansas City and the New York Jets.

Close friends of Manning are saying that he would love to sign with a team that, should he not be able to play, would want him for an offensive or quarterback coach.

Peyton Manning would be a great offensive coach according to Tony Dungy, Manning's coach when the Colts won the Super Bowl.

"Manning knew the Colts' offense so well, he could literally point out a flaw in the defense set-up while he walked up to the line. He would wave his arms, yell out new play calls and signal the changes to teammates before the play clock expired."

Meanwhile the Indianapolis Colts are expecting to draft outstanding college quarterback Andrew Luck from Stanford.

"With any LUCK at all, we'll be 100% better than last year", smirked Colts owner Jim Irsay.
