In a move which will shake the footballing world ex-West Ham player Stuart Pearce, now England Manager, has named ex-West Ham hero Scotsman Scott Parker as England captain.
Last season the Scot was named Footballer of the year and now he's Captain of the year. England's chances in the next World Cup took a turn for the better with this appointment.
In 1966, when West Ham players for England won the World Cup, Scottish fans were not impressed. But now with a Scot at the helm moves towards Scottish independence have been dropped.
It only remains for Robert Green to return as England goalkeeper for the secret charm of three West Ham inspired footballers leading England that we can move to another World Cup victory.
Scott, talking exclusively to Spoof commented: 'It is a great privilege to bring the spirit of West Ham back to the England captaincy. I will remember Bobby Moore as I walk on the pitch to-night
and Martin Peters and Geoff Hurst will be with me as well. With that trio behind me I will make England the pride of Scotland!'
Alex Salmon, Scottish KingFish, has welcomed the Scot's appointment and declared that he will not allow the Loch Ness Monster to undermine
West Ham's takeover.
