image for "Howard Webb feels persecuted" - agent
Webb always preferred the red of Mancester

Manchester United 12th man and referee Howard Webb's agent Rino Maiola says the ref feels "a little bit persecuted" after clashing with Mario Ballotelli in Sunday's Man City v Spurs game.

Maiola says Webb is "very disappointed and a little bit angry" about the decision to say he saw the incident that earned Balotelli a four match ban (for a stamp on Scott Parker) and says it is "very odd" that Man City are pushing the blame on him.

A club insider at Old Trafford told the spoof "I suppose City are complaining that a referee from their major rivals has been allowed to referee their game, knowing he is biased against them, and suggesting he saw the incident when it happened and took no action".
