NEW YORK CITY - Well the NBA lockout continues. And it appears that both owners and players aren't even close to settling their differences.
Sports Territory Magazine is reporting that one of the NBA owners has said privately that he is seriously thinking of putting the team up for sale.
He stated that he is tired of playing kid games with individuals who are making a lot more money than he is and he is the team owner!
Another unnamed owner revealed that he may just declare bankruptcy which would nullify every players contract. He noted that he will then ask the players to apply for their jobs but that every player on the team will receive a flat salary of $500,000 no matter if you are a super star or a bench player.
When Sports Territory's Ogelthorpe Ogeltree asked him if he was serious, he replied that he was. He asked Double O to tell him where his players could possibly make half a million dollars for only working about 15 hours a week for six months a year.
Ogeltree also learned that the NBA Cheerleaders Union has stated that many of their cheerleaders have left the United States and have joined cheerleading squads for professional basketball teams in South America and in Europe.
He spoke with one girl in particular who was a cheerleader with The San Antonio Spurs. She told him that she had contacted Uruguay's Montevideo Tricolores basketball team and that they had offered her a contract for triple what she was getting paid by the Spurs.
He also noted that the cheerleader, identified as Felicity Bangdorfen, will also get an apartment allowance, a meals allowance, a car allowance, and a Victoria's Secret of Uruguay allowance.
Miss Bangdorfen also stated that unlike the United States where they have strict rules against cheerleaders dating the players there is no such rule in Uruguay.
So with her being a gorgeously sexy blonde with vital measurements of 38-24-36, she will most probably be dating the star of the team.
