Oakland, CA--The Raiders hoped Carson Palmer could help the Raiders win, after Jason Campbell went down with a broken collarbone. Instead, they found that Carson Palmer showed confusion and poor accuracy in a lost to Chiefs on Sunday.
The Raiders' loss had Brett Favre back on the radio talking about what he could do for the Raiders and that it wouldn't have cost them any draft choices.
"I am cheap and want to prove that last year was just a fluke. I really think that Raiders missed a chance by not calling me. Sure, Carson is a great player, but he isn't Brett Favre. Who else can throw three picks and not blink twice. I bet Carson feels bad about it, but I know that with my experience I would never feel guilty about throw just three interceptions and I would help the Raiders win. That is what I do, I am a winner." Favre told WBNEW Sports Radio Monday morning.
Brett Favre also mentioned the Raiders had a lot of talent that would take a lot of pressure off him, and that he really wouldn't mind sending a few text messages to some of the Raiders' cheerleaders.
