image for Baseball Umpires pissed they had to work World Series

ST LOUIS - Baseball fans had entered the post season with hope that all the playoff games would be the most thrilling post season since two years ago. However, they were beyond disappointed that the two best teams in baseball decided to end their seasons early.

Many fans think that the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees deliberately called off games because they wanted to end their seasons for an early summer vacation. One fan even likens the conspiracy to the 'last day of school without having to take the finals.'

However, sportscasters chimed in on the trendy topic on Yahoo! Sports and said they believed that it's the umpires that suffer most here because there pay gets drastically cut and 'no more free peanuts' either.

Surprisingly, their seems to be disparity among which umpires work and which ones don't. Essentially, the umpires who made the most bad calls throughout the season regret it now because Major League Baseball stipulates the worst umpires will have to work the last series in baseball. It's a race for the worst umpires except that the top umpire gets fired.

Fans, who can empathize with the umpires because this happens all the time at there jobs during the holiday seasons, choose not to because they hate rules.

Nevertheless, umpires agree that some years you'll have a minor world series and other years a major league baseball. "It's baseball and peanuts," says one umpire.

In other related news, St. Louis First baseman Albert Pujols told his entire infield to stop throwing the ball so hard at him when he plays first base.
