As an official reviewer of technology gadgets, windshield wipers, fruit and all things Mac and Apple related at The Spoof, I have been given the opportunity of reviewing the iSpoof app now available for the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch.
The iSpoof app was designed to help spoof writers who have writer's block and feel unfunny, or are just too busy with the day-to-day life of parenting, day jobs, and writing serious books and articles to try to make extra money. The app will automatically scan and analyze all your most clever spoofs and then plan out, write and publish spoofs online for you.
It will determine what topics are relevant according to the news of the day, and based on spoofs you've already written and jokes that have been deemed funny, it will create the perfect spoof. The app will also go through the Spoof's Approval Center and approve and rate other writer's spoofs as well, thus making you have more time for the seemingly endless hours of chores, bill paying and business emails that have to be made all before you go to bed.
I found the iSpoof app to be extremely helpful in writing my spoof The Keukan Study Defines Popular Affection Positions. I wasn't able to write coherently as I had stayed up till 3:00 am the night before. I clicked on the app button, and in less than five minutes I had a decent spoof that one person rated as funny. A job well done in my book!
For all the iSpoof's merits though, it should not be used at the same time as you listen to The Mother Truckers on iTunes for some reason. There seems to be a conflict between really awesome southern rock music, and the app. Apple, Inc has made assurances that they are trying to work out the kinks so that you can play all of your music while using the iSpoof app. Oddly, it did work fine with the iToast, the iShoe and countless other apps reviewed on The Spoof.
