It's official. New research carried out by Professor Donny Gall of the Irish institute for mind studies has shown vast differences between men and women.
Using a newly developed high definition head scanner Professor Gall can, for the first time see which parts of the human brain respond to varying forms of stimuli.
Professor Gall was able to show that the part of the brain responsible for overtaking and reversing was ten times larger in men than women. As a balance, the area of the brain used for remembering arguments was considerably larger in women.
In an area associated with pleasure, the woman's brain only responded to pictures of ironing boards and kitchen appliances, whilst in the same area of men, only pictures of footballs and beer cans produced any results.
Similarly, in the area associated with desire, women only responded to handbags and shoes whereas men responded to fast cars and large screen TV's
Early indications show that men like TV and beer whilst women like being in the kitchen with a handbag and an ironing board. Professor Gall pointed out that these were only preliminary results and more information would become available as the result of further testing.
Professor Gall was in the news last year when he disproved the myth that women prefer a sense of humour in a man over looks. His study showed that only one out of the five hundred women he questioned would rather sleep with Ken Dodd than Johnny Depp.
In another study Professor Gall proved that obesity in women was not due to an underactive thyroid but to having an over active knife and fork.
