(Published 2060) PALO ALTERNATIVE, CA - After months in development, Apple Inc. have released this year's new gadget.

The Clean Water, which is based on a former compound from the early 21st century called H2O.

"This may not be new," said Steve Jobs 2.1. "But we've improved it. The world has not seen 'Clean Water' since the rains of '45. With all new life-making capabilities, and thirst-quenching power, it really is top-notch."

However, some people are not so sure.

"What?!" said Robert Casio Cord. "Look, everyone has been using Gatorade since the 30s. Even plants have. Gatorade has got electrolytes and salts. They're what plants crave! How can this 'water' make plants better?"

At the demo, this reporter tried 'Water', instead of his Gatorade/StarbucksCoffee Combo. The taste was bland, yet refreshing. It was strangely clear. Which is a downside, because I don't want to see right through the cup.

Bookies are taking bets on whether the 'Clean Water' will sell one million litres by the fortnight.
