Bad Moon On The Right

New York, NY-- An amazing astronomical spectacle is expected in the skies tomorrow night. The moon will be extremely close to the earth, only 1 mile away. The face of the moon should take up nearly 100% of the sky. It should be an incredible sight for any sky-watcher!

Normally, the moon is about 200,000 miles from the earth. Global Warming has caused the moon to go into orbital decay. Carbon atoms magnetically attract objects like the moon, although it is not understood why. Government scientists say Bush is to blame. and all the Republicans in Congress.

Astronomers say the public will have an excellent view of the moon's surface. The Apollo landers, a golf cart, and even astronauts' footprints will be easily seen with the naked eye.

Astronomers are also warning the public to be careful if they go outside. The gravitational pull of the moon should be very strong, and it's a good idea to be tied down to something. Astronomers fear many people will be yanked off the earth's surface and find themselves falling up (or down) to the moon.

Make Hydrogen Balloon's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
