Fernando Monte Verde, the international playboy and billionaire who has been called The World's Most Interesting Man, may be the illegitimate son of the late actor Ricardo Montalban. Montalban, most famous recently as Mr. Roarke in Fantasy Island, passed away in January of 2009 at the age of 89.
Monte Verde was undergoing DNA testing in a Paternity Suit when investigators discovered the link and identity of his own biological father.
"This explains a lot to me about my own mysterious past," said Fernando. "It tells me why I am blessed with so much elegance, grace, and charm and look really good in a white suit!"
"No wonder I always wanted to sail my yacht, the Conquest, to Fantasy Island! No wonder I have always loved granting the wishes of the adoring public! No wonder I am drawn to the beach and small planes filled with beautiful women! No wonder my first car was a Chrysler Cordoba with Corinthian Leather! No wonder I hate James T. Kirk and enjoy reading about Genghis Khan! No wonder I have always had a thing for midgets with accents!"
There was no definite word on who was suing Fernando Monte Verde in the paternity test, but one Hollywood insider who wished to remain nameless (Buck E. Filbert, photographer to the stars) said that it probably involved a member of the British rock band, the Bonkettes.
