The prickly issue of Time Travel once again raised its curious head this week when, in the unlikeliest of places, posters on a message board on a satirical news website rewalised they were drifting into and out of different time zones at will.
TheSpoof.com, a site used by disaffected grumblers and other mentally-challenged amateur writers, was the place to be as one after another of the scribblers posted messages in its forum, only to find that they had travelled backwards, and sometimes forwards in time, making a nonsense of the threads to which they were contributing.
The whole weird scenario turned into a farcical situation during The Anagram Game - which should incidentally have been called The Acronym Game - the day before yesterday (which might have been the day before, or the day after tomorrow, I'm not really sure.)
One writer posted his acronym response which appeared on the board BEFORE the acronym he was answering - a METAPHYSICAL IMPOSSIBILITY!
Things got worse when another writer, The San Francisco Onion, posted a story about parallel universes just two minutes before an exact same story by another writer, Monkey Woods, was published on another site on another plane of existence in 2001.
When will Mark fix it????
