image for Scientists discover rare species of homo erectus
is this an ape or just a japanese film extra?

In breaking news, Japanese scientists have discovered a unusual species of simian proportions wandering around the summit of Mt Fujiyama.

The primate appears to have a perpendicular body, lacking the hunched over appearance of typical ape like creatures. However, this species does have one extremely remarkable feature: it can talk.

Scientists were able to converse fluently with the primate and he in turn was able to answer all of their queries about his appearance.

The scientific community is divided over the real nature of this being and many think it needs more discussion. The Japanese scientists who made the remarkable discovery deny reports that the person was in fact a extra from a Japanese film set currently on location near the lofty mountain.
