image for Astronomer Spots Tiny Galaxy
Scale 1:4

Mount Palomar, California (IP) - Astronomer Dr. Povenmire Finootch found a tiny galaxy half way across the universe (which is kind of odd since the universe is infinite in size and so where is the half way point of forever ?).

It turns out that the galaxy is only 16 inches in diameter. The International Astronomical Union has named the galaxy OICU812B4I812.

Dr. Finootch was using a special telescope which had a microscope attached to the eyepiece so that small objects could be examined.

Astronomers hope to talk NASA into sending a space craft out to capture the galaxy and bring it back to Earth so they can ut it up for sale on Ebay. They want to raise money to replace the old 200 inch telescope which is no longer at Mount Palomar. It was sold on Ebay a few weeks ago to a teenager in Pahok, Florida.

The teenage boy has grown bored with the big scope and his family is using it to hang clothes on.

Make drugtestallpoliticians's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
