image for Exoplanet TrES -ALKA-5 Discovered

Mount Palomar Campus, California (IP) - Our science reporter just learned that another exoplanet has been found in the same stellar system occupied by TrES-4 in an orbit about twice as far as the first planet.

The new planet is even less dense than balsa wood having a density near that of alka seltzer. In fact the new planet is made of alka seltzer.

Earth's scientist fear that a collision between TrES-ALKA-5 and the Earth would be cataclysmic due to the violent effervescent action that would be result.

Some scientist speculate that such a collision would be worse than a flood in a fizzies factory or a fire in a match manufacturing plant. Other disasters that have been compared with such an event include a fart in an iron lung, a case of liquor wrongly delivered to an alcoholic's anonymous meeting, a police sergeant investigating a crime in a donut shop, a flood caused by a bus load of prostitutes perspiring in a church, an out break of laryngitis at the Vienna Boy's choir, and the presence of a polygraph at a political convention.
