Nokia's Head Honcho: Ned Nedler

Nokia's new 6969 phone has been lauched with a blast. Nokia's CEO Mr Ned Nedler says "We put a lot, and I mean a lot, of money into this design because we see this phone as the new benchmark in technology."

The new 6969 model is designed to automatically ring when you get into the shower, about to sit down for a meal, or go to bed.

The phone comes with no power button and no where to charge your phone when it goes flat. Instead of 12 keys Nokia cut it down to 3 to save time when rushing to SMS. "Who needs a power button when all you want to do is make a phone call to your girlfriend?" Mr Nedler says.

The new phone is expected to hit the shelves next month. Orders are already pre-booked by 2,000,000 making it Nokia's most successful phone yet with another 20,000,000 pre-booked on Nokia's website.
