image for Superdogs being bred in Ireland

A Swedish lab operating as a "research" facility recently opened in the Middleton area amongst growing concern with locals. Since the highly private complex opened in 2003, the terrier population has dropped radically from 675 in 2003 to about 7, at the last count. (Figures courtesy of the Irish Terrier Census Foundation).

Our exclusive picture (right) shows living evidence of extreme genetic modification being conducted in the heart of our society.

Oul lads all over the area are heartbroken and some have even turned to toy beany replicas to bring to the pub with them.

We contacted Sven Smorgasborg, PR officer of Superdog Sweden Labs where he gave this comment: "We are a highly respected Swedish company proud to be offering employment in Midleton. However the vicious rumours are not helping our Swedish-Irish relations. At this time we wish to dismiss as nonsense that due to the failing Swedish porn industry the Swedish Government are planning to control the EU with the help of highly intelligent genetically modified terriers."

This writer has his concerns and will keep you posted.

Make Carlos G's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
