Another clever lightshow beamed from Mars lunar surface

Moon lovers & spacemen all over the world today were in deep shock when Scientists proved the moon is, in fact, not real.

Scientists in Germany have been working on many theories over the past few years but have finally found a breakthrough when scientist Hans Knobler found a secret US document which claimed the moon landings were in fact staged in state of the art studio in Los Angeles.

Since then, the US government have been refracting light from a special base in Cuba into the skies giving an artificial appearance of a 'moon'. The cost to power the beam has been huge & the US Government have had to cut back over the years on defence policies, flood protection & education reform in many key states across the US.

Moon lover, Bob Mooney of The Moon Lovers Assosication (TMLA) is so shocked he is disbanding the association & is looking to Pluto for inspiration: "I can't believe it! The moons not real? Next minute they'll be telling us Santa Claus is a myth & Jesus walks amongst us".

No one from the US Government was available to speak with the press today but actor & pseudo space man Buzz Aldrin said in a statement: "Maaaan it was cool in those studios, sorry if I shattered a few dreams. Being a spaceman is a lousy job anyway, I now deal drugs and make $800 a day!"

President Bush was heard later muttering to an aid, "The moon may not be real but the threat from aliens really is. Lock your doors & keep your phasers on stun".

Make Fife Peterson's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
