Oregon - Animal rights advocates in the state of Oregon are outraged after a recent discovery in the Wilderness areas of their state. Ostensibly a group of hikers, during an expedition spotted an entire colony of SHAVED BEAVERS!
"It's sickening. Nobody wants to see that!" states Joe R. Stuped, a local animal rights advocate.
Several advocates opposed to the treatment are working together to find out who or what group of people committed the "handiwork" on these creatures.
Joe Stuped stated, "We were out on a hike one day and we spotted them. I was like DAM!"
Mr. Stuped spotted a beaver "dam". It was at this juncture that the group of hikers quietly made their way quietly toward the structure to see if they could spot any wildlife.
"And then we saw them, about 20 of them. Every single one of them had the tops of their heads shaved. It was a group of bald beavers!"
Howie Duin, another advocate stated, "Just because people like bald beavers doesn't give them the right to force their tastes upon these guys. I mean come on have some class!"
Stuped commented, "The beavers seemed to still be their happy selves. They didn't seem to be in pain or anything. We realize this is not nearly as severe as the 'monkey spanking' cases that we battled a few years ago, but never the less, myself and a lot of other people stand our ground. We don't want to see bald beavers out in public."
