NEW YORK CITY - The United States Guild of Dwarfs has made it very clear to NASA that they do not appreciate them referring to Pluto as the dwarf planet.
Guild spokesperson Hester Lippizan, 46, said that the group has put up with all kinds of verbal abuse from members of the United States citizenry and they blame it all on NASA which has chosen to refer to Pluto as the dwarf planet.
Mrs. Lippizan, who stands 4-foot-1-inch tall, suggested that NASA could refer to Pluto as the tiny planet, or the miniscule planet, or even the little itty bitty planet.
But by calling it the dwarf planet they are clearly showing their indifference, their insensitivity, and their disregard for the feelings of midgets.
A NASA spokesperson Teddy "Bucko" Titzheimer, 38, was asked to comment and he remarked that he could make a point by saying that the planet was first referred to as the dwarf planet by noted outer space historian Christopher Corsini, who stood 4-foot-2-inches tall, but then it would only dwarf the issue.
SIDENOTE: Titzheimer could not continue with his comment since he was laughing so hard he almost lost a tonsil.
