A college professor from San Francisco has claimed that when he was an eleven year old boy he time travelled as part of Project Pegasus. The respectable forty nine year old man claimed that when he as a boy of eleven in 1974 he was involved in a top secret government project being run by DARPA.

He revealed that the US has known the secret of time travel for decades but can only travel back in time and not into the future.

He recounted how he went into a plexi glass tube and then when the door was closed there was a really bright light and a great whirring and a powerful tornado blew him through a tunnel which was like being in an 'after death experience'. "The force of the wind was so powerful that I was buffeted and I lost my shoes," claims Basiago.

He said when the whirring and the wind stopped he found himself all bedraggled and muddy at the side of a track which was full of pot holes. As he had no shoes he had to walk on the wet grass verge and he felt conspicuous in his bugle boy outfit. He revealed that a wardrobe lady had dressed for his little escapade in authentic confederate bugle boy uniform. He claimed that DARPA liked using children as they were less conspicuous and more 'natural' than adults.

He took up the story and said that a kindly cobbler gave him a second hand pair of shoes which were much too loose for him. Andrew Basiago walked to the muddy and desolate Gettysburg field where the Republican army were encamped. He was taken into a tent and met Ulysses Grant. The general was kindly towards him and said, "Where is your unit boy?" After a few moments of interrogation Ulysses Grant said to his men, "Go and get the boy some bread and soup, and see if you can find his friends."

It was after that that Basiago slipped away and proceeded over to the podium where President Lincoln was about to give The Gettysburg Address. He was mesmerized by the grizzled, chimpanzee like appearance of Abraham Lincoln who whilst not a handsome man had a mesmerizing intensity and when he looked into Basiago's eyes he felt as if Abe was seeing into 'his very soul'.

Basiago is able to point out the veracity of his tale and actually show an authentic civil war glass photographic plate which shows a small bedraggled, folorn little figure in outsized shoes in the crowds gathered to hear Lincoln speak.

It is significant that Basiago saw a small black boy in a bugle boy uniform whom he recognised from Project Pegasus speaking to Lincoln and handing him, "A leather bound, "President's Book of Secrets". He made an astounding revelation that little boy was a year older than me and was trained in the same classroom at DARPA and his name was Barry Soetoro. "Yes, sir I was time travelling with the future President of the United States; and he met up with Abe Lincoln and received his blessing!"

Andrew Basiago is able to provide evidence of himself as a child present at The Gettysburg Address and was actually walking in the muddy encampment and able to see the squalid conditions the men were living in. He claims that Barry Soetoro was embraced by Lincoln as "The chosen one, who was born over a hundred years from now." Basiago treasures a Lincoln penny which he found in the mud of the battlefield. Sometimes he muses about how he was present when history was being made and wonders why he had not been selected by DARPA to be the future President of the United States of America.
