Topics: Earth, Wind Power

Scientists in London have made a shock discovery this week while analysing the power generated by the worlds wind turbines. Some 267,000 wind turbines are now erected worldwide, with more going up each day, but tests on these monumental windmills give early indications that the "drag" from each turbine is actually slowing down the Earth's revolution.

It is estimated that by 2020 over 25 million of these giant structures will be erected worldwide and the combined drag from these will slow the Earth down to such an extent that the Earth will take 28-32 hours to revolve throwing time as we know it into utter chaos.

A spokesman from the London science foundation said that although the harvesting of free energy must accelerate due to dwindling reserves of oil and gas, there is a drawback with this and also some of the worlds great movies and songs like, 24 hours from Tulsa, around the world in 80 days, and the longest day, will have to be re-written.. Trade union officials also jumped on the bandwagon and said any longer daylight hours working must be paid at "time and a half"

Some sporting events will also feel the brunt of up to 16 hours of daylight sun causing chaos to some events such as skiing. " these damn wind turbines are going to ruin us" said one ski instructor, but i suppose that's a load of wind and piste for you ....
