It is difficult to believe, in this day and age, that women are not allowed to dress the way they wish when it comes to covering their heads and/or wearing a veil.
It is their choice for the most part, according to articles in the British newspapers.
It would be much more appreciated, by many folk, if the 'clothes police' banned the outfits that some girls and women wear which show far too much flesh. That is more of an insult to the eyes of some people, surely.
I am not meaning to offend anyone here, but many days I do wish I was from a culture where I could cover my hair and/or my face and whole body.
Too much emphasis is put upon 'what we look like' instead of 'who we ARE'. Too much money spent on clothes, cosmetics etc. and too many girls and women, in our Western Culture suffer mentally and physically as a result of feeling that they are too ugly, too fat, too thin. Often leading to suicide. Not funny!
I admire the ladies who 'stick to their veils'. I imagine they are much more healthy (mentally) and secure in who they are.
