LONDON - Kate Middleton was in Waterloo shopping with two long time friends from Reading, Berkshire identified as Loretta Piffinshaw and Brompton Boxgrove.
Piffinshaw and Boxgrove have been living together for nine years and have remained very close friends of Kate's. And it just so happens that Boxgrove is a reporter for London's Tickety Boo Tabloid.
While the three were having lunch at Petula Clark's Downtown Restaurant, Brompton asked Kate how things were going regarding her Royal wedding which is set for April 29.
She giggled and said that her future mother-in-law has everything under control except for the fact that she has still not booked the band for the wedding reception.
Kate said that her and her fiance Prince William wanted her to hire the Rolling Stones. But the queen, who is one of the richest women in the world said that they were a bit too pricey.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: The Rolling Stones manager informed Buckingham Palace that the band would perform for a fee of £500,000 ($800,000 U.S.)].
Middleton said that Lizzy, as she calls her in private is leaning more towards the all-girl British band The Saturdays.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: The Saturdays have said that they will perform at Kate and William's wedding reception for £3,000 ($4,800)].
As the three continued with their meal Boxgrove asked if the rumor about her having seen the seven movies in the Harry Potter film series three times each was true.
Kate nodded yes and said that she absolutely loves Emma Watson and confided to Brompton that Emma is her favorite actress.
Both Brompton and Loretta were surprised to hear that. Brompton even asked Kate if she preferred Watson over such great English actresses as Dame Judith Olivia Dench, Helen Mirren, and the other Emma, Emma Thompson.
Kate replied that she did.
Loretta then asked if she preferred Emma Watson to Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, and yet another Emma, Diana Rigg (Emma Peel of The Avengers.
Kate assured them that in her mind there was no actress on either side of the "Pond" who could compare to the Harry Potter starlet.
Brompton Boxgrove asked Middleton which other Emma Watson movies she enjoyed. She answered that she loved Watson in The Ballet Shoes of The Non-Gay Ballerina and The Week With Marilyn That Seemed Like A Bloody Month.
She then blushed and said that she even enjoyed Watson in the guy flick which was filmed on location in Nottinghamshire titled The Adventures of Robin Hood And His Rather Oddish Addiction To Sherwood Forest Squirrel Belly Button Soup.
Kate Middleton confided to Brompton Boxgrove that she truly admires and respects Emma Watson so much that she has even named her brand new pet kitten Emma; and it's a male.
