After many long years in denial and after 7 mediocre records (some of which were actually successful), Nine Inch Nails singer Trent Reznor is done hiding.
Not long ago Trent Reznor was putting up with female groupies and women telling him how beautiful he is, which, as he said, he knew a long time ago. Reznor is finally doing the right thing in the opinion of gay rights activists everywhere who feel that Reznor will be a force to reckon with due to his status in society and the entertainment industry.
"I was just sick of being afraid to show my true colors- the rainbow," Reznor said in an interview with Rolling Stone.
"I tried to be as obvious as I could with so many pictures showing how much I love myself, but in this all-too-straight society composed of people intolerant to homosexuality, people just couldn't get the hint. It is guys that I desire, especially the young ones. Heh, they’re so naïve."
"I look forward to living my new life free of the chains of society that have held me back for so long!" Trent Reznor commented after being asked how he planned to go on from here. "And I'm especially excited about getting back into the studio to "make some music" with my friends. After I'm done with that, perhaps I'll start working on a new album.
Nine Inch Nails has recently release its 7th studio album titled "With Teeth" but already Trent is ready to get back into the studio to record a new album tentatively titled "Taste the Rainbow." The Skittles Company has stated that if indeed that is the new album's title, it will file lawsuits for copyright infringement.
As has been seen in many television commercials advertising the candy, "taste the rainbow" has been the slogan to persuade children all over the world to eat their tasty snack.
Trent seems to be thinking the same thing.
***Disclaimer: this is in NO WAY meant to be offensive to anyone, especially homosexuals. I have a friend at work that is very, very gay and hits on me all the time. I do not have anything against homosexuals. If you are offended, I truly and deeply apologize.
