I just do not know why people are making such a gaga about Paul the octopus.

What is so big in eating and predicting,eh ? I'll tell you a better way to predict and forecast anything you want to.

Take a big saucer, about a foot and half in diameter, two small cups and sugar and salt.

Fill the two cups with pure madeira upto the brim.

Put salt in one and sugar in the other.

That done, take out a hankie large enough to cover the saucer.

Now start pouring the sweetened wine into the saucer,a drop at a time.

Count drops and stop when you have exactly one hundred and seventy five.

Now take the other cup and repeat.

That done, cover the saucer with the hankie and cover the saucer.

Now drink the remaining wine in reverse order-salted one first.

Now wait for exactly for three hundred fifty seconds and check the hankie.

If it is dry then the forecast is favourable.

Half wet an average day.

Fully wet, the boy you're gonna have it ! Simple ? Isn't it? This is direct from the book of Circee( Stanza33,poem 79) It was quite well known on the continent before the infidels came and took the book away to Mount Tena in the Pamirs.

I happened to grab a copy at the ancient Gompa situated nearby.

It is very difficult to reach but one can make a try after getting permission from the Lhasa consulate.

But getting the book is not enough you have to study it thoroughly and understand the proper text and pronunciations before you can decipher the meaning.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
