Susan Boyle, well 'her people' that is, have decided to hold a competition in which the 'winner' will get to sing 'Silent Night' with Susan.
I must admit to being an avid Subo fan and I have never hidden the fact that I do belong to two of 'the purple' sites. but I am a terrible singer. Much as I would love to enter the competition, I can't.
However, I AM able to sign in 'exact English' sign language so I am contemplating approaching Susan's 'people' to involve me in this wonderful competition. I could stand on one side of Susan 'signing' Silent Night, whilst the 'singer' stands on the other side of Susan 'singing'.
In these days where 'all inclusiveness' is being pushed down our throats, I think I will be in with a chance. Why should I NOT be considered for such a role? Even the hearing-impaired deserve to enjoy Susan Boyle.
I do think a sign-language interpreter should also be present at ALL interviews because Susan is quite the character. She certainly has a way with words.
Rumours of her 'connection' with the recently deceased Mr. Moat, are greatly exaggerated. As far as Susan knows, he DID buy a copy of her first album but never attended any of her concerts.
