image for Multiculturalism A Proven Reality TGC takes a break in his Job Hunting

Let's take a look at a morning in the life of one unemployed 62 year old gentleman. (Name witheld because we do not want T G Chambers to be identified)

0500hrs: He wakes to the sound of the alarm on his Japanese made alarm clock, he rises and goes to his WC, shaves using his German made razor, washes and dries himself on his made in Italy, Irish linen towel, in his Korean made slippers, and then goes down the stairs for a cup of his favourite Asda Gold tea, a blend of Kenyan and East African leaves, then puts on his made in China laptop to search the job pages. Then he has some Polish eggs, and Italian tomatoes. He listens to his Swedish made dab radio, to a report on the Matabelian Gungo bean crop failure.

0600hrs: He puts on his made in Moroccan made hat, Bangladeshi made shirt, Philippines made jumper and trousers, and his Chinese made shoes, and trots off to catch the Dutch made bus, with the Indian driver, and drops off at the Mosque.

0700hrs: He walks up past the Immigration Support Centre charity shop, and into the job support centre, where the nice Bulgarian receptionist, send him up to see the Scottish advisor.

0800hrs: He nibbled some Dutch made biscuits, as he passed the Star of India take-away, and crossed the road, just avoiding being hit by a German made car with a Jamaican driver, and on to the bus-stop (built and maintained by a French company for home. He caught the Turkish made bus with the English driver home.

0900hrs: He exited the bus, and joined the queue for the Turkish Shish Kebab shop, as he did, he cleaned his spectacles, and realised the frames were made in Thailand.

1000hrs: Once home, he put on his Chinese built laptop, but found problems with his internet connection - so he called the helpline number, a lady with an Asian accent answered, but it was a hopeless case trying to understand each other.

1100hrs: He walked to the community centre, again narrowly missing being hit by a Canadian (Magna, a Canadian car part manufacturer, and Sberbank, a Russian company) owned Vauxhall, built in Holland.

1200hrs: The Ukrainian caretaker at the community centre welcomed him, and they shared a bottle of Norwegian mineral water.
