image for President Obama reveals plan to deal with Oil Spillage threat President Obam uncharacteristicly looking at the camera

In response to the growing fears regarding the extent of the Oil spillage in the Gulf of Mexico, President Obama released the following statement:-

In view of the ever increasing risk of pollution and the resulting environmental damage being caused to the area I intend to take the following action:-

I intend to have, without delay, a microphone placed outside the White House. I will then have placed to the right of that microphone a Teleprompter.

I will also have a Teleprompter placed to the left of that microphone.

I will at a time which is shortly to be established,
stand in front of that microphone and I will read from the Teleprompter to the left.

I will then read from the Teleprompter to the right before reading from the Teleprompter to the left again.

Furthermore, I intend to repeat this process, looking first to the left and then to the right and then to the left again for at least 35 minutes.

I will blame BP. I will blame the sub contractors to BP. I will blame as many people as I can . I will repeat myself over and over again in a totally sanctimonious manner and show the Nation and the World what a decisive President I really am. You, the Nation, can then judge.

Can I go on and on and on about it? YES...I...CAN!

Can I feign outrage? YES...I...CAN!

Can I fanny about and do sod all? YES...I...CAN!!!

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
