Why did President Obama win the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize? This is the question circulating all over the Internet.

First, let's take a look at just a few of President Obama's broken campaign promises:

Are we out of Iraq? No.

Did he close Guantanomo Bay? No.

Did he improve the US relationship with Afghanistan? No.

Did he end income tax for seniors making less than $50,000 per year? No.

Did he allow penalty-free hardship withdrawals from retirement accounts? No.

Has he recognized Armenian genocide? No.

There is much debate among political pundits about why Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Probably the most popular reason is that he is not President George Bush.

I have some inside information from the Nobel Peace Prize committee. The real reason President Obama won is because of the other Nobel Peace Prize contenders:

1. Windows Vista

2. Dr. Nikolas Chugay inventor of a new weightloss technique - a tongue patch that makes eating painful. The Chugay Tongue Patch is a postage-stamp-size piece of mesh that is surgically attached to your tongue to make eating painful. The patch remains in your mouth for a month, a daily reminder not to eat. During that time all nourishment comes from a liquid diet. Implanted in only 10 patients, Chugay reports that these patients have lost between 15-30 pounds in one month.

3. Governor Mark Sanford

I would have to agree with the Nobel Peace Prize committee that President Obama was the best choice to receive tne 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
