Most of you will have heard of the expression "Sent to Coventry" which means being shunned by society and treated like an outcast.

John was sent to Bridgend from Coventry in 1970 and had another kind of experience.

John was a gifted child with an underlying brain condition and from 1973 as he started growing up he endured twenty years of oppression, bullying, undermining and was treated as an outcast. He got no support for his handicap and no recognition of his capabilities. All these caused many psychological problems for him.

As time progressed John had no hopes of ever progressing in his career and gradually became more and more suicidal until he left the Bridgend area in 1993.

After John relocated and started to rise above many which proved he was nothing like what he was labelled as by the authorities he thought nothing more of it until Bridgend made the news in 2007.

In 2007/2008 with a spate of suicides in the Bridgend area, Bridgend has become the suicide capital of the United Kingdom.

So John, knowing what it is like to gradually be driven more and more towards suicide after twenty years of constant persecution (1973 to 1993), while living in the Bridgend area, decided to expose what happened to him while living there.

Recently, with so many vulnerable and disadvantaged people seeing no hope for their future and wishing to be dead in the present economic climate with New Labour failing them, John has started including the following information about New Labour's failures and broken promises in all his correspondence and emails stating that:

"Since getting into power in 1997, New Labour has been sending many vulnerable and disadvantaged families to Bridgend and will continue to do so.

Many of these victims end up in relative poverty feeling betrayed as well as not getting the support they need while greedy fat cats, bankers, politicians, council executives, etc. and families with children who are way above the poverty threshold are gaining at their expense.

These victims are treated as outcasts who are less deserving, but they are really in more need than the many that New Labour mollycoddle, making them feel worthless and losing the will to live. So there is no hope for them under New Labour and some have said that they cannot wait for God to take them away from this false hollow world.

This is what Common Purpose, The Fabian Society, The Tavistock Institute, The Law Society and other elitist organisations that are ruining society under the New World Order are responsible for by targeting the weakest within society who have no chance of standing up and defending themselves."

So, being 'Sent to Bridgend' is recognised as meaning being rejected, betrayed, ignored, treated unfairly like an outcast, denied the services that you are entitled to, labelled and deceived by the public services, denial of freedom and rights, thus being a prisoner of control freaks in authority and government suppressing your quality of life and making it unbearable something like those who go to Switzerland for assisted suicide because they don't want to live like this for the rest of their life.

These problems are caused within the public services failing to meet the needs of the most vulnerable within society.
