1. Toast the bread until it is roughly the same shade of brown as the colour of a pack of 20 Benson and Hedges cigarettes.

Not getting the Benson and Hedges thing just because your from another country that doesn't sell B+H's is no excuse these days, we live in a wonderful age.

2. Sprinkle approximately 1/4 of a sliced and diced onion over two pieces of white or brown toasted bread.

3. 1/2 a tasty, lovely, juicy,tomato lovingly placed on the onions and covered with Wexford Cheddar grilled to a perfect bubbly conclusion.

That is the perfect recipe for 'Cheese on toast.

I know cheese on toast!
