image for Shakespeare bus driver insults patron The Writer

It's a cloudy day in London and traffic is heavy. A woman is about to board a famed British bus on her way to the local supermarket to pick up some milk for her baby.

The woman gets on a bus with her baby. "That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen. Ugh!", the woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to another woman next to her. "The driver just insulted me!"

The other woman replies: "You go right up there and tell her to tart up - go ahead. I'll hold your monkey for you."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
