APE MUZik - And now the latest on Paul McCartney's newest release on his new recording label with Starbucky's Hear Music.
In an Interview with Paul, he gives APE MUZik the run down on his new CD and download, "Memory Almost Full"
- APE: Paul the first rumor I'd like to clear up is that a few of these songs are actually about your rough spell with Heather Mills McCartney.
Paul: Sure I can clear that up. They're nearly all about her mate.
APE: Well then Paul why don't we just sort of go down the track list and you tell us about each one.
Paul: Up yours mate.
APE: "Dance Tonight"
Paul: No thank you, I'll sit this one out. Oh the song, it was clearly about Heather's participation on that dreadful dance show. I mean good lord lass, hasn't your body been through enough just laying on ice next to baby seals? Or laying next to a 64 year old man? Come on!
APE: "Nod Your Head"
Paul: I had a crick in me neck one day after dodging a wine glass that Heather tossed at me.
APE: "Ever Present Past"
Paul: That one's about alimony, "ever present" yet about the past. So I guess I really owe Heather for that one too, but she's not gettin' a dime from this cd.
APE: "See Your Sunshine"
Paul: This one's actually quite sarcastic really, its about Heather's inability to see the bright side of things. You know I'm an optimist and though I'm a vegetarian I actually LOVE Kentucky Fried Chicken. I don't care how the damn birds are killed, they're finger lickin' good!
APE:"Only Mama Knows"
Paul: About Heather's ego mate, big know it all.
APE: "Standing Stone,"
Paul: Not really sure where that one came from, might be paying homage to Heather's fridgitity.
APE: "You Tell Me"
Paul: This one actually isn't about Heather, I was lost after leaving a pub one night and you know you roll down the winder and ask, "can you tell me where the bloody hell I am??"
APE: "Mr. Bellamy"
Paul: Heather's nastiest lawyer, though that isn't his real name of course, I think his name was Mustard.
Paul: Heather actually gave me a nice birthday present this year, I think it was some kind of rare form of mushroom, which I haven't gotten around to eating yet.
APE: The song suite "Vintage Clothes" "House of Wax" "The End Of the End".
Paul: Well the vintage clothes really is retrospective, because the other day I found the pair of underwear I wore during the roof top concert at Abbey Road. But House of Wax is Heather, because she had to have her back waxed once a week to keep the hair off. "The End of The End", is hopefully about the conclusion of the divorce you know, not my life as many have suggested.
"Memory Almost Full" in Star Buckos and other electronic and all the usual places June 6th.
