image for Valentine's Day with Sandra

Sandra's eyes twinkled as she stared at the beautiful big box wrapped in red and adorned with a golden bow. It was the prettiest of gifts from the ones that had popped up on Google search results.

Instantly she took to Facebook and posted the picture on her wall with the headline: 'What I found in the morning mail. Girls, here is what the note read: "A special Valentine's gift for my special girl. Love, Michael." Awww, isn't he adorable?'

Sandra next typed 'flowers' in the search box and felt butterflies in her stomach at the hundreds of amazing options she found. She zoomed in at the the reddest of roses and saved the image, partially blushing. Now she was only a click away from letting her friends know about Michael's irresistible charm.

Next on her Valentine Day's schedule was The Princess Makeover. She skipped breakfast and hurried to her wardrobe. This was a time consuming task but she had ample hours, as her deadline was till evening. Sandra browsed through the dozens of clothes she had bought thoughtlessly. She tried on each one of them along with various accessories, eye and lip shades. Smokey eyes. Red mini skirt. Gold blouse. Glittering black dress. Bright red lips. Shimmery silver long skirt. All ideas were tried and rejected. Eventually she settled for the Barbie attire she had constructed in her head all year long.

She applied the final make up touches and grabbed her phone for some selfies. Her mind hovered over the possible comments she would add below these shots. "Ready to meet my Prince." "Forever in love." "Can't wait to meet Michael, feeling lucky."

Sandra even eyed the diamond ring placed in her drawer before posting the new photos but decided to use it for next Valentine's Day. After all, an engagement after five years of relationship seemed more likely. This was just the fourth Valentine's with Mike.

Finally she cooked up all the juicy details of her magical dinner date and posted them as a Facebook note. Sandra had a huge grin from all the events that had materialised from her room alone. Even though her special day had come to an end, the Facebook 'likes' and comments had just started flooding in. So, tomorrow would be another busy day for her, reviewing and replying to her 600+ friends. The excitement lulled her to bed when she dreamt endlessly of Michael, once again.
