Energy can be stored. Sight and sound are energy; therefore, we can store them and, consequently, recall them.

Carl Jung, 1875-1961, psychiatrist and psychotherapist, refers to a psychic system of inherited collective unconsciousness. When we dream we see images, but most of time these images are unfamiliar and we have no recollection of them. Where do they come from- same collective unconsciousness? Were they once real, seen by our ancestor?

Plato, (429-347 B.C.) said, 'Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.' Plato insisted that music should be taught to children. Perhaps, Western civilization is indebted a lot to this great Greek philosopher.

Recently, two bands in a city in Middle East were cancelled, because, according to Islamists, concerts are "morally wrong". Not surprisingly, in 1978, at the rise of Islamists, in the same city, 400 movie goers were burnt to ashes!

In music, experts say there are two kinds of keys: major keys and minor keys. Major keys produce happy music, and minor keys, sad music. Same experts say Middle Eastern music, contrary to Western music, emphasizes minor keys or rather sad sounds. In fact, sad music mimics sighs, quavering and wails of mourning!

A woman retiree, now a US citizen, educated and definitely way beyond her menopause, every year travels back to her Islamic homeland, where concerts are banned because of immorality. Of course, some instruments are lawful: battle field drums, bugles, shepherds' pipes, three-time-a-day muezzin's call to prayer, and above all, mullahs' tear-jerking mournful, melancholic vocalization at the end of their preaching.

Incidentally, her arrival coincided with muezzin's call to prayer, heard from megawatt speakers, placed in 4 cardinal directions on the pinnacle of a minaret, shaking structures like an earthquake. At this moment, her face beamed with delight, saying, how fortunate you are to be able to hear this comforting melody 3 times a day! When she comes to her place of birth, where she spent her childhood, adulthood, employment, until retired, she spends lavishly American taxpayers' citizenship money paid to her on dentistry and face uplifting or visiting some tombs of the dead like millions of the local people.

When she comes to her native land, she inquires about old friends and former colleagues who intend to throw a 'Nazir' or Vow party, a unilateral contract drawn by the donor with a deity to grant her wishes, such as fish cleaning job, baby-sitting job or a wealthy US-born son-in-law for her nose-job-breast-implanted daughter etc. She believes such sacred free foods guarantee good health and pave the path for a splendid next life.

Based on the irrefutable facts about minor keys and Carl Jung's inherited collective unconsciousness theory, we may safely conclude that grand parents of this woman did suffer an immense trauma. The fact is that, the cause of the suffering started 1378 years ago, when Islamist Arab bandits attacked the homeland of her ancestors. At that time, the Arabs beheaded thousands of God-fearing male parents of this woman before the eyes of their family. We are certain that Arab Islamists took away young females and under puberty boys for sex. We have no doubts that the Arab Islamists sold the woman's descent family members to slave markets. We know that such victims quavered, sighed, wailed, wept as long as they lived, bearing the invaders' illegitimate offspring. These wailing and pains, definitely, were stored repeatedly later for many years even now, until, somehow, they became part of her unconsciousness. No wonder if they have become part of her DNA. That's why she enjoys sad songs.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
