The history behind pizza -
In 1492, just before Chris Columbo sailed the ocean blue, he visited Italy. He tried to make a flatbread pepperoni sandwich and noticed while sailing that wind and waves caused his flatbread to flop around in his hands and the pepperoni would fly off.
While in Italy Columbo purchased cheese and decided that might taste nice on his flatbread sandwich. He accidentally left his sandwich in the sun. The cheese melted, solving his problem of the flying pepperoni.
Columbo was so over joyed, he ran into the top of a famed tower to shout his newfound discovery's praises. Just that instant an earthquake hit, shifted the tower he was standing in, and knocked his sandwich out of his hand, through the air, sending cheese and pepperoni flying everywhere.
Columbo screamed out "OH. PLEASE AHHHHH!"
Local villagers mistook what he said as "Peeee Zaaaahhh!" No one knew what he meant, but assumed he was referring to his flying food.
Thereto forth the tower was named, "Leaning Tower of Pizza."
